Trained Operators. Fewer Surprises.
Operator training air scrubber programmes are an important part of the installation process at AEC Systems. A well-built air purification system is one part of the equation. The other is making sure the people running it understand how it works.
Operators are the ones monitoring process values, checking settings and spotting deviations during day-to-day operation. They play an important role in keeping an air scrubber running as intended.
Why operator training matters
The performance of an air purification system depends on more than its design. Process conditions, operating parameters and day-to-day operation all play a role in maintaining effective odour and emission control.
If deviations are not recognised or settings are not adjusted correctly, treatment performance can be affected. In some situations, this can eventually contribute to odour complaints or emission exceedances.
That is why operator training is an important part of the installation process at AEC Systems.
From theory to practice
Recently, we trained the operators of three air scrubbers installed at SFP Group's locations in Farmsum and Harlingen, the Netherlands.
We started with the theory: how the air scrubber operates, how the process air is treated and which process steps take place inside the system. We also discussed the key process values and settings that operators need to monitor during daily operation.
Then we went onto the roof.
At the air scrubber itself, we could connect the theory directly to the equipment and explain the function of the different components, step by step.
That combination of classroom training and practical instruction helps operators understand not only how to operate the installation, but also why certain values, settings and actions matter.
What Operators Learn During Air Scrubber Training
Trained operators can:
- read process values and settings correctly
- spot deviations at an early stage
- operate the installation as intended
- respond faster when something goes wrong
- provide maintenance and technical support with the right information
This can help reduce avoidable faults and unnecessary downtime, while supporting consistent performance of the air purification system.
Operator training for industrial air scrubbers
AEC Systems provides operator training for industrial air scrubbers and other air purification systems. Training combines technical explanation with practical instruction at the installation itself.
The aim is straightforward: give the people working with the installation the knowledge they need to operate it correctly, recognise deviations and understand what is happening inside the system.
The operators at SFP were highly motivated and asked plenty of practical questions. That made it a valuable training session for everyone involved.
Good performance starts with good engineering - and continues with people who understand the system.
With more than 30 years of experience in industrial odour and emission control, AEC Systems combines air purification engineering with practical knowledge of system operation and maintenance.
