In sewage treatment plants, the sludge treatment lines cause odour nuisances in the environment. Odours are mainly caused by sulfurous compounds (H2S, mercaptans, organic sulfides), nitrous compounds (ammonia and organic nitrogen) and acid, aldehyde and ketone type organic compounds.
AEC Systems has various air treatment techniques to combat odour nuisance. Which technique comes out best in practice is highly dependent on the situation. Through odour tests with our mobile air scrubber and / or a CPI-test unit we can show which technique is best suited to reduce odour emissions at the sludge treatment plant.
You can leave the entire process from design, production and assembly right up to starting up the finished unit in our capable hands. As AEC Systems is a full service partner, we can also carry out maintenance activities for the installations.
