Before purchasing an installation, you want to be sure that the system is the right solution for the odour and / or emission problem. After all, not every process air flow is the same, not even in the same sector. Certainly in the case of complex odour treatment problems, we recommend that you first carry out tests with one of our mobile air treatment installations during a certain period.

We install our mobile test unit at your factory site and connect the unit to the process air. The unit can be installed both indoors and outdoors. You can instruct a measuring agency to sample the incoming and outgoing air. With the results we can verify the operation and dimensions, and demonstrate that our system is actually the solution for odour nuisance and the emission problem.
AEC Systems has test units based on two different techniques:
- a mobile test scrubber, suitable for odour molecules soluble in water
- a Cold Plasma Injector test unit, suitable for odour molecules not water-soluble
test scrubber
The mobile test scrubber consists of three scrubbing stages. In the first scrubbing stage, sulfuric acid is added to the scrubber water. This sulfuric acid binds the ammonia. In the second stage, water is used to bind the remaining odour components. In the third stage, which is continuously sprayed with water, odour and dust particles are washed/scrubbed out of the air.
Cold Plasma Injector test unit
The Cold Plasma Injector test unit consists of a durable, corrosion-free cabinet containing an Ozone injection and mixing room followed by a reaction room. Ozone-containing plasma is injected into the process air, causing oxidation reactions and the odour molecules to fall apart into smaller particles that are not odour-bearing.
With the cold plasma test injector we check at your location whether the technique is suitable for your problem concerning the odour components to be removed. Furthermore we can advise you on the number of Cold Plasma Injectors required for this specific situation.
